Are you a passionate and experienced educator ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic professional to take on a dual role as both Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Key Stage 1 Teacher.

The school are committed to providing high-quality education and personalised support to ensure all pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This is a part-time position ideal for an experienced teacher with a passion for SEN and a strong understanding of KS1 education. You will split your time between:

Coordinating and delivering outstanding SEN provision across the school

*

Teaching a small Key Stage 1 class, creating a vibrant and engaging learning environment

Responsibilities Include:

*

Overseeing the SEN strategy and ensuring statutory requirements are met

*

Leading on EHCP processes, intervention planning, and liaison with outside agencies

*

Supporting staff with inclusive teaching strategies

*

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons to a Key Stage 1 class

*

Creating an inspiring classroom environment that fosters curiosity and confidence

We're Looking For:

*

A qualified teacher with QTS and recent experience in Key Stage 1

*

National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it)

*

A deep understanding of SEND legislation, inclusive practice, and early intervention

*

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

*

A caring, reflective practitioner who places children at the heart of everything
