Role: Storeperson / Storeman (NG Person Substation)Location: Woolavington, Bridgwater, TA7 8EDRate: £22.50 per hour PAYE ONLYHours: 07:30 AM - 18:00 PM (30 min break) Monday - FridayDuration: 4 months

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in power, transmission, and distribution projects across the UK, is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson / Storeman to join them at Woolavington, Bridgwater, TA7 8ED.

As a Storeperson / Storeman, your duties will include:

• Managing materials, plant, and equipment within a live National Grid substation environment

• Logging deliveries, maintaining accurate stock records and issuing materials to site teams

• Coordinating equipment movements with lift teams, supervisors, and plant operators

• Supporting safe lifting operations when required

• Keeping the stores area organised, clean, and compliant with project procedures

• Working collaboratively with engineers and supervisors to support construction activities

• Upholding National Grid and site safety standards at all times

The successful Storeperson / Storeman must hold:

• NG Person Substation (National Grid Approved Person) - Essential

• Manual Handling

• Emergency First Aid at Work

• Plant & Vehicle Marshal (PVM)

• Slinger Signaller

• Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)

• Supervisor Passport Scheme

• Crane Lift Supervisor

• Telehandler - Essential

• COSHH Awareness

• Fire Safety Awareness
