Barker Ross is currently recruiting experienced Bench Hand Joiners on behalf of a well-established company based in Kegworth. This is a great opportunity to join a skilled workshop team involved in producing high-quality bespoke and commercial joinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret detailed manufacturing drawings accurately
Work to exact measurements, tolerances, and material specifications
Measure and mark materials precisely for cutting and assembly
Operate saws such as table saws, band saws, and chop saws
Cut timber, MDF, plywood, veneers, and other sheet materials
Use woodworking machinery including spindle moulders, edge banders, pocketers, and routers
Set up machines to meet job requirements
Assemble components using gluing, screwing, pinning, and doweling techniques
Build finished products such as cabinets, display units, counters, and moreWhat We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a bench hand joiner or in a similar workshop-based role
Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications
Confidence using woodworking tools and machines
High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
