An excellent opportunity is now available for a Package Engineer to join a reputable Oil and Gas company with a strong reputation. Although the role will be primarily based in Aberdeen, visits to various sites in different countries will be required throughout the year so flexibility to travel is crucial. The Package Engineer will be responsible for overseeing sub-contracted work packages across delivery scopes, working closely with management teams. This role would suit a confident Engineer who can balance technical knowledge with commercial and managerial tasks.

Responsibilities:

* Manage full lifecycle of sub-contracted packages.

* Lead technical and commercial discussions during procurement and execution stages.

* Liaise closely with management teams including quality inspectors.

* Manage package delays or changes efficiently and identify problems early.

* Communicate seamlessly between Procurement, Engineering and Quality departments.

* Work with technical specifications and develop execution plans.

Required:

* Demonstrable experience in Engineering delivery roles (5+ years).

* Degree/ HND in a related Engineering discipline.

* Installation/ commission/ testing experience - beneficial.

* Experience liaising with suppliers and project teams.

* Confidence when dealing with technical documentation.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Proven experience of working to tight deadlines.
