Are you an experienced administrator? Do you have purchasing experience?

We currently have a temporary Site Administrator role available with Holcim Hill Quarry. This role is ideal for someone with previous admin and purchasing experience

Role: Site Administrator

Shifts: Flexible in terms or hours and days, you can choose which suits, but must be a minimum of 4 days and 20hrs between 7am and 5pm

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Duration: 6-12 months

Location: Holcim, Hillhead Quarry, Clay Lane, Uffculme, Devon, EX15 3EP.

Main tasks include

Creating and amending purchase orders for suppliers as requested by site management

Ensure that orders are received when goods / services have been supplied

Ensuring that site records are accurate and up to date

Liaising with suppliers to resolves any invoice queries

Liaising with the site management team to ensure that adequate supplies of consumables are maintained

Greeting and welcoming visitors to the site

Assisting with the induction of contractors as required

Answering the telephones and passing on messages in a professional manner

Completing inspections of equipment and supplies (i.e. spill kits, first aid kits, fire alarms etc.) as directed by the Assistant Quarry Manager

Recording holiday requests and instances of sickness / absence

Providing weighbridge cover / support as required

Managing inbound and outbound postage / deliveries

Requirements

Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use of Google suite & Microsoft Office suite

Flexible and adaptable attitude with ability to prioritise a range of different tasks.

Willing to embrace change.

Exceptional communication skills, at all levels, both written and verbal.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with other members of staff at all levels of the organisation.

Honest and reliable.

Conscientious, detail conscious and accurate

Confident, enthusiastic and tenacious

Self motivated

Ability to work on own initiative & as part of a team

Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues.

Well-presented and able to come across professional at all times.
