Robert Half is partnering with growing business within the automotive sector, seeking a part-qualified Management Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting and compliance activities.

This is a hands-on role working closely with operational teams to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making.

6 month interim assignment.

Onsite - North Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Deliver variance analysis against budgets, with a focus on operational costs
• Partner with department heads to review financial performance
• Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Support year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
• Manage VAT reporting and ensure regulatory compliance
• Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc finance projects
• Provide support across transactional finance when required

Requirements:

• Part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
