Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Telford
Salary: £48,000 - £50,000
Hours: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We're recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding Engineering team. Due to new investment on brand new machinery, this will give the successful candidate great exposure into an Engineering team that has the right mindset towards a planned and preventative attitude. You will also get the opportunity to visit the OEM directly for training.

The Role

You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving production equipment and facilities, ensuring machinery runs smoothly and downtime is minimised. You'll work closely with production teams to identify root causes of issues and deliver practical solutions - all while contributing to a positive and collaborative engineering culture.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
Troubleshooting mechanical faults across a range of machinery - Hydraulics, Pneumatics, bearings, chains, motors
Supporting process improvements and equipment upgrades
Working with a small, friendly team in a hands-on environment
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Proven maintenance experience (manufacturing or similar environment)
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
