Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum plus car allowance

Avery Healthcare, based in Northampton is recruiting for efficient and effective Regional Support Manager to join a fast-paced and transforming business.  As a Regional Support Manager, you will work alongside the Regional Director to support a region/group of care homes to provide clinical and quality support, guidance, and leadership to enable effective care home management as directed.

The role requires you to have effective communication skills and the ability to plan, manage and organise a busy workload whilst demonstrating our values of being caring, supportive and innovative.

We are recruiting for a Regional Support Manager to cover one of our regions supporting the North London in our South.

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Provide focus and support in key homes as directed, ensuring appropriate compliance to standards, reporting and care delivery.
  • Support the Home Managers with completing specific projects as directed which may include budget performance, quality performance, recruitment.
  • Support and induct new Home Managers into Avery and mentor them during their first 6 months of joining the company.
  • Support and assist in regularly reviewing individual homes action plans and assist with the completion of agreed actions to drive continuous quality and commercial performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development, assess training needs, and feedback findings to the Regional Director.
  • Support the Regional Director in the recruitment of Home Managers and other Heads of Departments
  • Support the Regional Director as directed with the completion of investigations, Root Cause analysis and trends analysis
  • Assist the Home Manager / Regional Director in the effective marketing of the homes by providing support with marketing plans and undertaking competitor analysis.
  • Provide interim management cover for short & long term Home Manager absence as required , which may require registering with CQC as the Registered Manager
  • Build effective and constructive relationships with company staff and work effectively with other members of the Avery Healthcare support functions.
  • Promote a positive approach to Health and Safety, risk management and infection prevention by implementing the Company Health and Safety strategy

This role will require travel and overnight stays may be required

RGN qualification and an active NMC Pin is essential.

To join us as a Regional Support Manager, it is essential you hold or are working towards Level 5 Leadership and management qualification and have a minimum or 3 years experience in a Home managers role with 5 years experience in the care sector.
