Role: Childrens Residential Manager
Location: Preston
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (dependant on experience and qualifications)
At Outreach Staffing Solutions we are working with a Client in the Lancashire area, who we are supporting in seeking an Experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to join their team and support with managing an EBD Children's home in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead from the front and manage a home while supporting young people aged 7 to18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, while providing and safe and nurturing environment for Young People. Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the home.
- Lead, support, and develop staff teams to provide a therapeutic, child-centred environment.
- Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.
- Manage and personalise Care plans to each child to meet there needs and
- Promote structure, emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood while providing a safe nurturing setting.
- Take overall responsibility for safeguarding across both homes.
- Collaborate with local authorities, social workers, schools, health professionals, and families.
- Represent both homes in reviews, inspections, and multi-agency, local authority meetings.
- Lead and manage the Residential care team to provide high-quality support for Children and Young people, ensure staff feel supported and complete Rota's.
- Liaise and work in partnership with Local Authorities and Health services.
Requirements for the Role
- 2 years’ Management or Leadership experience in a children’s residential setting (Applications from experience Deputy Managers looking for career progression will be most welcomed as well).
- Level 4 or 5 in Management (Residential Childcare) or working towards this (Or you will be happy to be enrolled on this if not attained already)
- Full UK Driving License
- 3 Years Children's Residential home experience
- 2 Years Leadership in Children's Residential home experience
