Transport Assessor - Risk Assessment Team

• Contract: Until 30th September 2026
• Hours: 37 per week
• Working arrangement: Flexible hybrid – daily attendance at head office (LE3) for induction, then flexible/home working with regular on-site team meetings

We are seeking a Transport Assessor to join a Risk Assessment team. The role involves assessing the transport needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), supporting the completion and review of individual risk assessments for home-to-school transport, and assisting with wider administrative tasks as required.

You will have:

• Experience gathering and interpreting information from multiple sources to produce clear reports and correspondence
• Strong attention to detail
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and other IT/database systems
• Ability to work collaboratively to problem-solve and achieve outcomes under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise empathetically with parents, carers, and the public
• Experience delivering services to individuals or groups
• Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
