The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure delivery business with over 100 years of industry expertise.

Working across major infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions within sectors such as water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and food & beverage.

This role offers the chance to lead projects from design through to commissioning, working closely with clients while managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, ensuring scope, cost, quality, and programme objectives are achieved.

Develop and maintain project programmes, forecasts, and progress reports.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage and coordinate engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to the highest safety and quality standards.

Identify project risks and opportunities early, implementing mitigation and improvement strategies.

Manage project changes and variations, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Provide clear progress updates and performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Promote collaborative working practices across project teams and supply chain partners.

Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback from project delivery.

What We're Looking For Essential Experience & Skills
Proven experience delivering electrical, control, or utilities infrastructure projects.

Strong project management and leadership capability, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and other project management tools.

Qualifications
Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent).

HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

CSCS/ECS card.

SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred).

Full UK Driving Licence.
