Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Power generation

Industry Sector: Generators, Handling Equipment, Service & Parts, Battery Energy Storage, Rental Companies, Plant Hire, Resellers and Distributors

Area to be covered: Scotland - ideally based near M8 corridor

Remuneration: £45,000- £50,000 Neg. + 20% Bonus and 50% Stretch Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed Pickup or £650 per month car allowance & full benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Construction Plant Sales will involve:

* Field sales role, vast majority of your time selling a manufactured range of generators, from small mobile petrol generators up to large scale industrial diesel and gas stationary generators

* Small amount of time also promoting light towers and battery storage systems

* Majority of time selling into plant hire companies and rental companies as well as resellers and distributors of generators

* Budget management and achievement of area turnover target

* Initially responsible for an area achieving circa £300,000-£400,000 turnover

* Internal reporting using CRM (salesforce) systems

* Forecast and sales analysis

* Management of negotiations and commercial offers

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Construction Plant Sales with:

* Proven track record selling power generation equipment

* May considered allied products; light tower/ battery storage

* Open to hire or sale backgrounds

* Technically competent

* Great communication

* Strong work ethic

* CRM/ IT Literate

* Can work under pressure

* Ability to work independently

* Pro-active new business minded

* Willingness to travel
