Job Title: MIG Welder

Location: Bolton

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate: £14.66 - £15.76 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role:

Due to continued expansion, my client is seeking skilled and experienced MIG Welders to join their growing team based in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with a well-established and reputable company in the steel fabrication industry.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
Overtime available and encouraged

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components 
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Carry out steel fabrication and general engineering tasks
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets
Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health & safety standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors 
Requirements:

Fully conversant in MIG welding, steel fabrication, and general engineering practices
Ability to work from technical drawings
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Good communication skills and a team-player attitude
Must be able to reliably commute to Bolton or be planning to relocate before starting work
