About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant in Doncaster, you will provide essential support to teachers and pupils within the classroom. You'll help deliver engaging learning activities, support pupils with additional needs, and encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including those with SEN.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
• Promote pupil engagement, participation, and confidence in the classroom.
• Support behaviour management and positive learning routines.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to meet pupil needs.

Candidate Requirements

? Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role (desirable).? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.? A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with children.? A genuine passion for supporting learning and development.? Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).? Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning are advantageous.
