Primary Supply Teachers

Reed Education Plymouth is currently experiencing high demand from our partner Primary schools, leading to an abundance of flexible, rewarding roles in supportive EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. We offer both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, providing an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking variety and professional growth. Please note this role is not open to those seeking overseas sponsorship.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings according to the UK Primary curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual classes and students.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Provide immediate feedback on student progress to permanent staff and adjust lesson plans as required.
- Manage classroom resources and ensure a tidy and safe environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for teachers (paid at £145 per day).
- PGCE graduates without QTS who are seeking valuable school experience.
- Strong knowledge of the UK Primary curriculum.
- Essential RWI knowledge for EYFS applicants.
- Reliable, adaptable, and confident in new classroom environments.
- DBS on the Update Service is an advantage, though assistance is available for obtaining a new enhanced DBS.
