What you'll be doing; - Assist in managing daily site operations including IBA processing, road sweeping processing and landfill activities
- Coordinating vehicle maintenance & repair activities and ensure environmental compliance through permit management, leachate control, surface water management, and landfill gas monitoring
- Maintain accurate environmental data records and implement sampling plans for waste compliance and customer audits
- Support in the management of Quality, Health & Safety systems including risk assessments, procedures, and contractor documentation
- Assist in driving safety culture through incident reporting, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support project management activities including business planning, project oversight, and operational phasing, support infrastructure, cell construction and restoration projects
- Assist in financial management, team development, and stakeholder relations with authorities, community groups, and regulatory bodies
What we're looking for;Essential- Knowledge of waste industry
- Knowledge of Hazardous Waste
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Project Management
- Degree in an Environmental field
- This is a development role so flexibility and self motivation and development are critical to the role.
- Ability to demonstrate technical competence
Desirable- Previous Knowledge of Landfill operations and/or waste management
- Experience of managing of teams
- Understanding of P&L and general operational finance practices
- Understanding of ER & HR processes
