What you'll be doing;

• Assist in managing daily site operations including IBA processing, road sweeping processing and landfill activities
  
• Coordinating vehicle maintenance & repair activities and ensure environmental compliance through permit management, leachate control, surface water management, and landfill gas monitoring
  
• Maintain accurate environmental data records and implement sampling plans for waste compliance and customer audits
  
• Support in the management of Quality, Health & Safety systems including risk assessments, procedures, and contractor documentation
  
• Assist in driving safety culture through incident reporting, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
  
• Support project management activities including business planning, project oversight, and operational phasing, support infrastructure, cell construction and restoration projects
  
• Assist in financial management, team development, and stakeholder relations with authorities, community groups, and regulatory bodies
  

What we're looking for;

Essential

• Knowledge of waste industry
  
• Knowledge of Hazardous Waste
  
• Excellent Communication Skills
  
• Project Management
  
• Degree in an Environmental field
  
• This is a development role so flexibility and self motivation and development are critical to the role.
  
• Ability to demonstrate technical competence
  

Desirable

• Previous Knowledge of Landfill operations and/or waste management
  
• Experience of managing of teams
  
• Understanding of P&L and general operational finance practices
  
• Understanding of ER & HR processes
