As an MPG Technologist, your interpersonal, creative thinking, and robust analytical skills will be called upon from day one. You are detail-oriented and highly innovative. You apply your technical analysis and development background in support of task orders for Federal Government clients. You are also responsible for providing communications support through development of presentations, talking points, web content and other deliverables as necessary.

§ Research client organization and industry and gain a full understanding of project requirements.
§ Facilitate workshops with client employees and management teams.
§ Influence team to ensure deliverables deadlines for various systems and applications are met.
§ Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software in support of distinct product hardware or technical service lines of businesses.
§ Demonstrate knowledge of one or more systems, platforms, and programming languages.
§ Lead baseline, integration, system, and regression-level testing in support of research and development efforts.
§ Set priorities, generate and organize client-driven test schedules, and simultaneously accomplish tasks across multiple hardware platforms.
§ Support the implementation and rollout of new or updated desktop technology requirements and desktop information security implementation.
§ Liaise with project leaders, management teams and stakeholders.
§ Mentor junior MPG team members.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas:
§ Systems Engineering
§ Integration Engineering
§ Systems Installation and Maintenance
§ Systems Security and Cyber Security
§ VMWare 5.5 Administration
§ Backup Linux Administration
§ NetApp/WebLogic Administration
§ Application Load Balancing
§ PKI Support
§ BA or BS degree required
§ 5+ years of proven related experience (7 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
§ Experience with JSP, Ext JS, Java, object oriented programming languages, or user interface development
§ Demonstrated Experience with industry best practices (ITIL, Agile Project Management, and CMMI)
§ Service oriented focus, excellent communication skills, diplomacy and flexibility
§ Experience creating test documents and test plans, and analyzing and documenting software test results
§ Knowledge of security requirements and guidelines
§ Knowledge of a variety of service desk management and reporting tools
§ Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
§ Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask
§ Track record of delivering well-organized and accurate work
§ Ability to obtain a security clearance
