This extremely progressive Leeds brand are currently enjoying a sustained period of growth within their niche field. A diverse client portfolio ensures they continue to grow year on year.
They have a requirement for an experienced Accountant to join the team, to take ownership of a key area and ensure it is driven without hiccup for the next 4 months.
The requirement is due to a member of the team moving over to a project, and therefore this role may extend beyond the initial 4 months.
Duties:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare or support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting
- Prepare, analyse and reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
- Analyse financial performance, more support on queries from Finance BP -
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Timely, accurate and efficient booking and reporting of financial transactions in relevant system(s) and according to Lowell policies and guidelines for assigned entities.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Review accounting entries and reconciliations, to ensure that entries have been accurately processed giving a robust balance sheet position.
- Act in advisory capacity /review role for Assistant Management Accountants
You MUST have experience of working with very large data sets, and therefore come armed with exceptional Excel Skills.
This is a key role for the business, who operate a hybrid working model, from their Leeds based offices.
