Senior Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader

Salary: Up to £36,413 per annum + £2,000 performance bonus

Hours: 36 hours (4 days) or 45 hours (5 days) per week

Working Hours

About the Role

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader, you will oversee the daily running of your room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, and safety for all children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and motivating your team

• Setting weekly learning and development targets

• Tracking and recording children's progress

• Working closely with management and families

• Maintaining strong parent communication via the Famly app

• Following nursery policies and safeguarding standards

• Creating a fun, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment

About You

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

• Passionate about early years education and child development

• Confident in leading and supporting a small team
