Our client is an established and successful company based in Cramlington. They are currently looking for a Procurement Executive to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

The Job You'll Do:

* Day-to-day stock control and inventory management

* Placing and tracking purchase orders with suppliers

* Booking goods into the system upon delivery

* Setting up and maintaining product records in the system

* Liaising with the marketing team to keep website listings up to date

* Communicating lead times to sales staff and customers

* Assisting the Operations Director with developing and maintaining core product ranges

* Working with suppliers to negotiate the best possible pricing and terms

* Supporting general purchasing and administrative tasks

* Answering phones and dealing with incoming enquiries as needed

About You:

* Previous experience in a procurement, stock control or admin role preferred

* Good organisational and communication skills

* Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

* Able to work full-time from the company's office in Middlesbrough
