Have you previously worked with children with SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD or EBD? Would you like to gain invaluable and rewarding experience, supporting vulnerable children and young people with challenging behaviour?

Monarch Education are pleased to be working closely with a thriving and passionate school. An opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to join a dedicated School based in Kidderminster on a long term basis to start immediately.

The wonderful school are keen to welcome an individual to the cohort team who is hardworking, encouraging and kind-hearted. Your will be required to provide support to students across all key stages to support behaviour through targeted intervention. Much of the role will be working in partnership with student, members of the inclusion team and sometimes parents.

The most suitable Behaviour and Inclusion Learning Assistant will:
* Relevant Level 3 or above qualification
* Excellent communication skills
* Good working knowledge of the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
* A passion for supporting pupils to achieve their potential both personally and academically
* Experience of teaching phonics is desired
* Team-Teach qualified is desirable, a knowledge of de-escalation techniques is essential
* Confidently support on a 1:1 basis, using your own initiative to promote positive learning outcomes

Located in Kidderminster, this school particularly promote and want to offer additional support to pupils exhibiting difficulties in mainstream school and those considered most vulnerable. You will be provided with both training and knowledge to enable you to support vulnerable students. You will deliver targeted intervention to small groups across all key stages in order to promote equality of access to education; your role will develop higher levels of achievement, welfare, attendance management and safeguarding.
