Senior Estimator / Intermediate Estimator - Facade Cladding Specialist

Essex (Hybrid Working Available) | £50,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience) + £5,000 Car Allowance

Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in facade cladding and rainscreen systems? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven, ethically minded specialist contractor working on exciting projects valued between £1M - £5M across the South East.

This reputable cladding contractor delivers high-quality facade projects, working with major contractors such as Willmott Dixon, Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall, Wates, and Kier.

You'll be joining a well-established Estimating and Work Winning Team, currently led by a knowledgeable Senior Estimator and supported by three other Estimators.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for facade cladding projects.

* Build rates from first principles using labour, plant, and material costs (analytical estimating).

* Use standard pricing templates where available, adapting them as required.

* Price projects in the £1M to £5M range, including both new-build and recladding schemes.

* Collaborate closely with main contractors and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.

Ideal Candidate:

* Experience as an Estimator in facade cladding, rainscreen systems, or similar.

* Comfortable building estimates analytically from scratch.

* Understanding of rainscreen build-ups and recladding projects.

* Familiarity with Gateway Two processes is a bonus.

* Skilled in using OST, Bluebeam, or similar take-off software.

* A team player with an ethical mindset and a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
