Job Description

Klarisana is a leader in psychedelic psychotherapies and uniquely positioned to make sure that everyone has access to mental health care.

Klarisana is looking for a Behavioral Health Specialist to work collaboratively with members of an integrated team. The role will include facilitating individual and group therapy, psychedelic preparation and integration, facilitation of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and various clinical responsibilities. This role will be intentionally varied to help prevent burnout and to facilitate collaborative creativity within the core team of clinicians. Klarisana is qualified to set the standard for practitioners to support people safely, ethically, and effectively on a journey for healing using ketamine.

Applicant must have experience in at least two of the following:

  • Psychedelics (any training or participation in psychedelic-assisted-therapy considered an asset)
  • Somatic psychotherapy
  • Trauma Reprocessing Therapies
  • Mindfulness
  • CBT

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders
  • Provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP), individual and group therapy
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress
  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
  • Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling
  • Maintains thorough records and on time documentation of patient progress
  • Follows all safety protocols and maintains patient confidentiality
  • Contributes to the clinic by offering innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes
  • Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary
  • Provide remote and in person counseling
  • Works collaboratively with members of an integrated team


  • Fully licensed as a clinician in the state of Texas (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in individual and group therapy, specifically focused on complex mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma and substance use
  • Trauma-informed care approach
