Gap Construction is working with a well-established construction contractor based in Barking, known for delivering high-quality projects across London and the Southeast. With continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to add a Compliance Administrator to their head office team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and forward-thinking business, ideal for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for process and organisation.

Performance Objectives
* Maintain and manage compliance records, ensuring all documentation is up to date and audit-ready.
* Assist in the onboarding of subcontractors, ensuring all required compliance documents are received and verified.
* Monitor key certification and insurance expiry dates, issuing reminders and coordinating renewals.
* Support internal audits by collating and preparing all necessary documentation.
* Liaise with site teams and senior management to ensure company procedures are understood and adhered to.
* Track and update records for health & safety, training, and workforce compliance.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of compliance systems and workflows.

Person Specification
* Prior administration experience, ideally within construction or a similarly regulated environment.
* Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Able to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
* A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of responsibilities.
* Knowledge of health & safety or compliance frameworks in construction (desirable but not essential).
