The Role

The position of Group Head of Finance will report to and support the European Finance Director. The role will have strong variation between people leadership, group finance & compliance, and operational finance to influence strategy, direction and decision making. The key components will include:

People Leadership

• Hiring, training and developing of a finance team including Accountants, Part Qualified & Transactional Finance - AP, AR, Credit Control & Payroll

Group Finance & Compliance

• Ownership of financial reporting, financial accounting, compliance, governance & risk
• Involvement in high profile process & continuous improvement projects
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
• VAT & Taxation returns

Operational Finance

• Influencing strategy, direction and decision making
• Finalisation and presentation of monthly reporting packs
• Business partnering with senior and non-financial stakeholders including Departmental Heads
• Budgeting, forecasting & cashflow analysis
