Band 7 Pharmacist - Acute Trust (Ward - Based)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 am - 17:00pm
Pay: £22.76/ Hour - Standard £36.42/ hour - Bank Holidays

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Band 7 Pharmacist to join an acute trust on a ward-based assignment. The successful candidate will support clinical pharmacy services across a range of acute specialities, including:

-          General Medicine
-          Surgery
-          Orthopaedics

Key Responsibilities

Provide clinical pharmacy support to allocated wards
Conduct medicines reconciliation and clinical reviews
Support safe prescribing and medicines optimisation
Work Collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Offer advice to clinicians, nursing staff and patients
Assist with discharge planning and patient counselling
 
Requirements:

GPhC Registered Pharmacist
Previous hospital or ward-based experience (Band 6/7 level)
Strong clinical knowledge in acute cate
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
