Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1:1 ASD TA to join a welcoming primary school in Bolton from January, continuing through to the end of the academic year.

The Role:

• Full-time position supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis

• Providing tailored support to meet individual learning and social needs

• Working closely with the class teacher, SENDCo and wider school team

• Helping to create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment

• Implementing strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and engagement

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children with ASD or additional needs

• Calm, patient and nurturing approach

• Able to build trusting relationships and follow clear routines

• Good communication skills with staff, pupils and parents

• A passion for helping children reach their full potential

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role is desirable

• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK

• Suitable references covering the last 2 years
