HGV Class 2 Driver – Radcliffe, Manchester

People Solutions are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Radcliffe, Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and the chance to secure a permanent position from day one.

Shifts      
•  Monday to Friday      
•  06:00 starts      
•  Average 9 hours per day (45 hours per week)

Rates of Pay      
•  £33,000 per annum

Day-to-Day Duties      
•  Operating HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently      
•  Completing multi-drop deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles      
•  Ensuring all loads are safe, secure and correctly loaded      
•  Providing excellent customer service at each delivery      
•  Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks      
•  Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and presentation      
•  Complying with UK traffic laws and driver regulations

Essential Skills      
•  Valid UK Category C licence (held for a minimum of two years)      
•  Minimum one year’s experience driving Category C vehicles      
•  Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards      
•  No more than six penalty points (minor offences only)      
•  Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic      
•  Good communication and customer service skills

•  Full site induction      
•  Industry-related training with ongoing support
