£12.75 - £13.20 p/h – Up to £27.4K 40 Hours – Days Elderly & Dementia Residential Home – Good CQC A small private residential home in Hitchin is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to join their leadership team. The fully CQC compliant home offers elderly and dementia care in a home from home setting and staff work tirelessly to ensure the home feels more like a family home than a care home. Details of this Deputy Manager role and what the home is offering:
• A permanent contract to work 40 hours per week on flexible day shifts, with some evenings and weekends required for quality monitoring purposes and to meet the needs of the home
• Competitive hourly pay rates from £12.75 to £13.20 depending on experience, which equates to an annual salary of up to £27,450
• A fantastic working environment in a very well-run home As Care Home Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Registered Manager to coordinate the clinical and operational management of the service, managing staff, budgets and resources and promoting the best possible standards of care. Applicants for this Deputy Manager role should meet the following criteria:
• Have completed a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, but will ideally have completed Diploma Level 5 or an equivalent
• Demonstrate proven experience working in a senior or managerial role within a UK care or nursing home setting
• Confident leading, supporting and mentoring staff
