Nursery Nurse – Mitcham

Are you a warm, nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional looking to join a friendly and supportive nursery? Our client, a lovely early years setting based in Mitcham, is looking for a Nursery Nurse to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years development, who enjoys helping children learn, grow and feel secure.

About the Role

As a Nursery Nurse, you will:

• Provide high-quality care for children aged 0–5
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS
• Support children’s learning, play, development and daily routines
• Work collaboratively with your room team to create a warm, stimulating environment
• Carry out nappy changes, toileting support and hygiene routines
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times

Working Hours

The nursery is open 7:30am – 6:00pm, and staff work on a shift basis across these hours. Full-time hours apply.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Early Years (or working towards)
• Passionate about working with children
• Reliable, positive and able to work well as part of a team
• Confident in communicating with children, parents and staff
• Knowledgeable about safeguarding and EYFS (training can be provided)
• Friendly, patient and committed to delivering excellent childcare
