Plumber – Multi Skilled

Venn Group have partnered with a prestigious Central Government organisation to recruit a Multi Skilled Plumber on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a team of Plumbers, you will help to maintain historical, grade one listed buildings around the site as well as all the other buildings that make up the estate.

The role is varied; and involves fitting taps, clearing blockages, isolating supplies and fixing various components. You will have access to a well-equipped workshop to support you in your work.

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000

Location: Central London

Duration: Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (No on-call required)

Key Duties:

• Perform reactive plumbing tasks (e.g. unblock toilets/sinks).
• Conduct basic mechanical maintenance (e.g. repair heat emitters).
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Handle semi-skilled tasks (e.g. relamping, light painting, scaffold setup).
• Fabricate and repair items in the workshop.
• Promote safety and enforce health & safety regulations.
• Complete related administrative work.
• Attend meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The successful candidate must have:

• NVQ level 3 in plumbing
• Experience in delivering a range of reactive and planned plumbing services within complex, high-demand estates.
• Skilled in performing plumbing and basic mechanical tasks and interpreting technical drawings.
• Proficient with mobile IT systems for task management, email communication, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledgeable about working safely in occupied buildings, building management systems, and relevant health and safety regulations.
• CTC (Counter Terrorism Check) will be require for this post.
