HGV Class 1 ADR Driver - Tanker / Trunking - Days & Nights - Falkirk

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver - Tanker / Trunking to join our well-established client based in Falkirk. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver looking for consistent ADR tanker and trunking work on both day and night shifts.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday (weekend work available)
• Night shifts available Sunday to Saturday

Rates of Pay

• £17.74 - £28.51 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing Class 1 ADR trunk runs and changeover work
• Carrying out ADR tanker deliveries and collections
• Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all ADR loads are transported safely and securely
• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
• Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
• A valid ADR Licence (Tanker & Packages preferred)
• A minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No major endorsement codes
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws

Desirable Experience

• Previous ADR tanker driving experience
• Experience completing Class 1 trunking or changeover work

Training Provided

• Ongoing industry-related training and support
