Contract Opportunity: Senior EC&I Engineer - Sellafield Projects
Rate: £51-£55 per hour (Inside IR35)

Ready to take the lead on high-impact engineering projects at one of the UK's most complex nuclear sites? We're looking for a Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering critical design, commissioning and engineering solutions for Sellafield.
This is a hands-on, site-based role-ideal for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic project environment and enjoys solving real-world technical challenges on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead EC&I design development and review for major nuclear infrastructure projects

Produce and check design documentation, drawings, and calculations

Ensure designs comply with Sellafield standards, safety case, and site licence conditions

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers

Liaise with project management, safety, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Requirements:

Proven background in EC&I engineering within the nuclear or highly regulated sector

Strong understanding of BS EN and IEC standards

Experience working to Sellafield or equivalent site procedures (advantageous)

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

SC clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
