RF Engineering Lead Job in Bedford - £70k-£80k

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a design and manufacturing firm, based in Bedford now seeking a RF engineering Lead to manage a team of RF engineers, guide the design, development, and delivery of high-performance RF systems while ensuring a successful execution of projects from concept to production.

The company are expanding to meet the demands of their clients and are seeking a RF engineering lead, ideally with a Strong foundation in RF and microwave engineering, Significant hands-on experience in simulation, prototyping, testing, and optimisation of RF systems, and a proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering RF engineering projects.

This is RF engineer lead role focussing on combining technical depth in RF engineering with leadership and project management responsibilities.

Key Skills:

* Strong foundation in RF and microwave engineering, including circuit design, electromagnetic theory, and system integration.

* Familiarity with industry-standard tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, Altium) and RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analysers, etc.).

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate a team.

* Strong technical and communications skills

* Able to define System Verification approach.

* Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.
