Service Technician - Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind & BESS)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + performance bonuses

Role Overview:
This hands-on field role in Gateshead offers diverse technical work across solar PV, wind, and battery storage systems. You'll be part of a forward-thinking team ensuring high-performing, safe and compliant energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance

* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults

* Supervise subcontractors and ensure H&S compliance

* Engage in training and technical development programmes

* Support spare parts procurement and system documentation

Requirements:

* Level 3 Electrical qualification or approved electrician certificate

* Experience in renewable energy projects or industrial electrical work

* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

* Strong communicator with a proactive attitude

* Working-at-height qualification advantageous
