3.5 Tonne Driver – Coatbridge
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.Please note: You must be aged 21 or over for our client’s insurance purposes.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Early and late shifts
• Weekly rota provided in advance
Rates of Pay
• £12.86 – £16.72 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle at the start and end of each shift
• Delivering goods from the warehouse to stores and collecting returns
• Completing between six and eight store deliveries per shift
• Working any four nights out of seven, with rota provided weekly
• Working shifts between five and ten hours per day
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points
Essential Skills
To be successful as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Held licence for a minimum of two years
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences only
• No IN, DR, DD or CD convictions accepted
• Aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience
Training Provided
• Paid site induction following successful theory and driving assessment
• Minimum of three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
