• This Accounting Manager will report directly to the VP of Finance.

• Overall leadership and direction of two Staff Accountants.

• Oversight of transactional accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.

• Lead month-end closing activities, including maintaining the closing schedule and review and posting of various journal entries.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolve variances.

• Prepare and distribute customized financial reports.

• Evaluate monthly financial results with V.P. Finance/Controller noting business results and trends.

• Provide detailed guidance in the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets based on historical data.

• Oversee regular audits (401K, Worker's Compensation, etc.)Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• 5+ years of related accounting experience with demonstrated progression and past supervisory experience.

• CPA or CPA tracking preferred.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.

• Experience with EPR and reporting systems required.

• Excelling communication skills.
