Salary: £30000 - £60000/annum company bonus + benefits

My industry leading client are currently seeking enthusiastic, self-driven and forward-thinking C# Software Engineers to work within their fast-paced software development team in a number of locations.

The successful applicants will support the development of some of the most innovative products in their market sectors and you will be amongst some of the industries finest in C# Software Development. Your contribution and team involvement will impact on the Automation sector and you will be rewarded with a fulfilling career.

Although developing new functionality and maintaining existing software is key to the position, you will be expected to integrate existing components built both internally and externally to the company, analyse product performance, complete peer reviews and produce story boards that depict the end-user experience.


* Delivering software for IAPD and related applications on time and to budget

* Collaborating in the generation of the requirements and software design

* Staying abreast of industry developments in software development

* Maintaining and updating legacy software projects as appropriate

Key requirements

* A high level of personal discipline and motivation to seek out solutions and present ideas

* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a small team

* Communicate ideas to varying levels of professionalism within the immediate team, IAPD division and wider areas of the business.

Key Skills

* Demonstrable practical experience working with C#

* Demonstrable practical experience working with WPF and .NET applications

* Demonstrable practical experience of working in an agile development environment

* Be educated at HND, Diploma or Degree level or above in computer science, software engineering, engineering, mathematics, physics or a closely related subject area

* The role also involves collaboration with software groups from other divisions and may require some limited travel

Desirable requirements

* UX/UI development

* Developing applications with CAD and/or graphics functionality

* Mathematical ability - particularly the ability to visualise and manipulate model/view transformations

* SQL databases

* Multi-threading experience

* Basic knowledge of Metrology

* SDK design

* Azure DevOps experience

* Experience of Git
