Your Role as an Experienced Science Teacher

As a key member of the science department, your responsibilities will include:

*

Teaching Science across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, including A-Level Science

*

Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons that challenge students and foster a passion for the subject

*

Supporting and mentoring less experienced staff or trainees, sharing your expertise as a seasoned Science Teacher

*

Contributing to the development and refinement of the Science curriculum at all key stages

*

Taking an active role in the school's wider academic life, including leading or supporting Science-related extracurricular activities

*

Using assessment and data to support student progress and ensure high levels of achievement in Science

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher who:

*

Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 (A-Level)

*

Has a deep understanding of Science and the ability to engage and inspire students at all levels

*

Is committed to delivering outstanding lessons and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

*

Has excellent classroom management skills and a track record of raising achievement in Science

*

Is willing to share best practices and contribute to the development of the science department

*

Is committed to their own professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and subject developments
