💰 Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Specialist Façade & Fire Remediation Contractor

We are working in partnership with a specialist contractor delivering complex façade, glazing, and cladding solutions to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong contractual and commercial expertise. This company collaborates with several of the UK's leading main contractors, delivering high-quality, design-led packages across the residential and commercial sectors, particularly within London and the South East.

This is a key role supporting the delivery of external fire remediation projects, contributing directly to vital safety work that ensures compliance with post-Grenfell fire safety regulations.

The role offers hybrid working, with flexibility to work from home and attend site visits or meetings in London as required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial aspects of fire remediation and façade projects from tender through to final account.

Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, valuations, and cost reports.

*

Negotiate and administer contracts (primarily JCT and NEC), ensuring full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee procurement and commercial performance of subcontractors and suppliers.

*

Provide commercial risk assessments and support value engineering activities.

*

Resolve contractual and commercial issues in collaboration with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Experience working on fire remediation or recladding schemes is advantageous but not essential — candidates with transferable skills from other construction sectors are encouraged to apply.

Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts is essential.

*

Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
