Job Description

Our client is one of Kern County's premier agriculture companies operating and Headquartered in Bakersfield. They are looking to add a qualified Staff Accountant to their team who will assist the Controller with the day to day accounting functions of the company. This position requires a strong accounting background.

Assigned Duties:

  • General Ledger entries
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Month-end reporting
  • Depreciation
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly taxes
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Ad hoc reporting as assigned by Controller
  • Assist A/P, A/R, and payroll functions as assigned
