Class 1 Driver - £17 days, £18 Nights, £20 weekends - IMMEDIATE STARTS AVAILABLE

Pure Staff are looking for an experienced C+E Class 1 Driver to work alongside one of our clients in Newport.

Our client is a large (well-known) company specialising in general haulage, super markets and barrier work.

The job itself will consist of trunking work.

Distribution is completed in an Articulated curtain-sided lorry. Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Driver who fits the criteria listed below.

Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver -

Trunking work - motorway barriers as part of a team
Weekday/night and weekend shifts available
Modern, well looked after trucks.
A positive mentalityThe ideal HGV Class 1 drivers will have -

Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
1 year Class 1 experience is essential for this role due to insurance
Valid CPC Card
Valid Digital Card
Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.

Pay rates;

Days £17ph PAYE

Nights £18ph PAYE

Weekends £20ph PAYE
