- Has proven experience supporting children across the primary age range and confidently delivering high-quality cover for teaching staff.
- Is a flexible and supportive team player, able to build strong relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities As a HLTA, you will:
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities across the curriculum.
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to help close learning gaps.
- Assist in the assessment and tracking of pupil progress.
- Contribute to the development of classroom resources and displays.
- Support the wider school community through participation in events, clubs, and enrichment activities.
