My client is a market leading specialist engineering business and they are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to drive strong financial control, deliver high-quality management information and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and ad-hoc financial reports

* Support the business in providing accurate and timely management information

* Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to all key stakeholders; and respond to changes in the business

* Proactively work with the business to compile and manage cashflow, and identify and manage risk

* Revenue Recognition IFRS15

* Present and operate at all levels both internally and externally

* Ensure compliance with financial policies and reporting standards

* To speak finance to non-finance managers

* To champion finance processes and compliance to accounting practices, challenging behaviours and embedding best practice throughout the wider business

* Monitor and ensure the validity of the information available
