An outstanding co-educational independent boarding school located just outside Taunton is looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. The role offers the opportunity to teach Music from KS3 through A-Level, and contribute extensively to the school's vibrant musical life.

The successful candidate will be involved in classroom teaching, co-curricular music making, and the musical direction of concerts and productions. The school has exceptional facilities, including a purpose-built music school, practice rooms, a concert hall, and a fully equipped recording studio.

Candidate Profile

Degree in Music or a related field; PGCE and QTS essential

Experience teaching Music at KS3, KS4 and ideally A-Level

Piano or orchestral instrument specialism desirable

Strong commitment to extra-curricular involvement

Ability to inspire students of all abilities and foster a love of music
