Our Aspiring Teacher Programme offers the perfect launchpad. Based in Tameside, with placements across Greater Manchester, you'll work in secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or Mentor — gaining real-world classroom experience and making a genuine difference.

What You'll Do

Lead pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour (Cover Supervisor)

Support students with learning (Teaching Assistant or Learning Mentor)

Encourage pupil engagement, participation, and progress

Assist teachers in delivering effective and inclusive lessons

Build rapport with students and support school life

✔️ Ideal Candidates Are:

Recent graduates (any subject: BSc, MSc, or equivalent)

Enthusiastic about working with young people

Adaptable, confident, and good communicators

Interested in progressing toward a career in education

Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.

Requirements

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply through Cover People)

Availability for full-time school hours (8:30am-3:30pm)

Eligibility to work in the UK
