Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Manchester (Ardwick)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team, supporting a key contract in Manchester.

This role focuses on maintaining site infrastructure rather than rolling stock, offering a varied workload across electrical systems within a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the client's maintenance regime

* Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdowns as required

* Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure including lighting, heating, and power systems

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations

* Liaise with the client and internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery

* Work occasionally at height using appropriate access equipment

Requirements

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (essential)

* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

* Experience working with building infrastructure systems (not domestic-only experience)

* Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP / IPAF) certification (preferred)

* Testing & Inspection qualification (desirable)

* Full UK driving licence (beneficial)
