I'm working with a highly regarded independent school in Hampshire, seeking a Management Accountant to support the finance function and help drive informed decision-making across the organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad, hands-on role and wants to be part of a mission-driven environment that values both professionalism and purpose.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:

Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Maintaining financial controls and reconciliations
Assisting with year-end processes and audits
Working closely with department heads to monitor financial performance
Contributing to process improvements and financial systems development
About You:

Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
Strong management accounting and Excel skills
Experience of working in an independent school / school.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
Experience in the education or not-for-profit sector is a plus, but not essential
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
