Site Manager - Tier 1 Contractor- Edinburgh

Are you an experienced Site Manager ready to lead projects with precision and drive? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial projects across Edinburgh.

The Role:

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You'll manage site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and act as the key point of contact between stakeholders and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise construction activities on-site

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times

Maintain site records, progress reports, and ensure quality control

Coordinate labour, materials, and equipment effectively

Liaise with the project management team to meet delivery targets

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Site Manager role within construction

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White), and First Aid at Work certifications

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and ensure deadlines are met
