Location: South Ribble (Preston)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner looking to make a real difference in a child's early education? We are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and nurturing Primary School in the South Ribble area (Preston).

About the Role:

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will help create a stimulating and supportive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS curriculum
Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
Provide a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
Monitor and record children's progress and report to teaching staff
Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to support each child's individual needs
Requirements:

Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification specific to EYFS (e.g. CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education or equivalent)
Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and teamworking skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
